As of April 2013, Bob is not expecting to attending LoneStarCon III, the 2013 WorldCon. He, however, does plan to attend LonCon, the 2014 WorldCon in London next year.
Bob will appear (on Saturday only) at ConStellationNE IV, held April 19-21, 2013 -- the fourth edition of a science fiction convention in his home town of Lincoln, NE.

Bob attended and participated in the 2008 WorldCon, Denvention 3, August 6th-10th. He appeared on two panels -- "SF as a forum for questioning social norms" (Fri 10:00), and "A World Without Children: The social implications of a declining birthrate" (Sat 10:00).

Bob was one of two author Guests of Honor at WillyCon VIII, in Wayne, Nebraska the weekend of March 31st through April 2nd, 2006.
Bob appeared as part of the Lincoln City Libraries' John H. Ames Reading Series on Thursday, February 16th, 2006 in downtown Lincoln, NE. His readings that night (which included "The New Deity" and a portion of "Good Mountain") were taped and appeared on Lincoln's cable public-access channel 5 in late March and early April of 2006.
